It’s an annual contest, where we allow our Clients, followers and the general public nominates a Charity/NGO/Cause through a series of planned activities to get free exposure for a month on all our screens in Lagos.
We help spread awareness about the charity or their cause across our network of premium shopping mall digital screens in Lagos for a month. The exposure is valued at over 2 million Naira.
Our intention is to promote the work of these heroic and selfless organizations doing amazing work in our communities while encouraging donations and support from the public by creating awareness about their activities, mission, achievements and plans using our medium.
In 2015 and 2016, Strap and Safe and Food Clique Charity organizations won the contest respectively. This year will make it the 3rd year of the contest.
The contest has made a substantial impact as the charity organizations who benefitted from this initiative have given great reports about how much recognitions and donations they received as a result of the exposure.
’’Winning the Nimbus Charity contest made a huge impact on our charity organization, FoodClique Support Initiative has not been the same since we won as the victory has taken us from one level of increased impact to another. With regards publicity, we noticed the significant increase in our volunteer base, a lot of people identified with our vision and became invaluable parts of our team. The exposure that came with winning the contest is indescribable; we have reached out to more underprivileged children, we received more donations and our win sparked thought provoking conversations on social media thus resulting in increased awareness for our cause. We say a big THANK YOU to Nimbus; thank you for the opportunity to share our passion with a wide audience, it has truly been a humbling yet fulfilling experience for us as we continue to make efforts towards achieving a hunger-free world.’’
